Yesterday, was our church's big Harvest Party at Fog Willow. It was so much fun. The girls enjoyed the free pony rides, petting zoo, trampoline, play equipment, and the hay pyramid. Oh, let me not forget the hay rides too. The food was just as wonderful. We served BBQ ribs, tri-tip sandwiches, gumbo, french fries, corn dogs, hot dogs, nachos, cotton candy, slushy, TONS of yummy baked goods, more candy, and to top it all of... Sargent's Coffee yummmmmm. I'm so glad I'm a part of TRC. God must really love me to have uprooted me and re planted me in such a place as TRC. The Ministry is top notch, the saints are are just as grand, and there is NEVER a dull moment at the church. It doesn't matter the day or time, you will always find something happening there. It also doesn't matter your age, you will find a group of fun-loving people that are right there with you.
Needless to say, after a fun-filled day, I'm sick in bed. My lungs were permanently affected from the toxic mold in our home. Now, when I'm out and around trees, and grass, my lungs can't handle it, and I get laid up in bed. My chest feels as though it is on fire, it kills to cough, and my current medications of Advair 500, Albuterol, and Zyflo seem as though they are infant strength. Luckily, I fly out to my specialist on Thursday, (I hate flying) so that I may begin injections that will hopefully allow me to once again live a normal life (minus all the meds).
All this to say, I wish I was at church tonight instead of being in bed. I tried to watch our service online, but it was not up:( Good thing we have a tape ministry :) I just hope I'm better by tomorrow to take my kids to school, one of them to a Dr. appointment, and one has a tutor coming to our home in the am. No time for me to be sick. Duty Calls.

Smartest Women Alive!
Happy 1st Birthday Seylum Rhys
My baby is 1. How did this happen? wasn't it yesterday Daddy placed her in my arms? Now she is full of laughs and PERSONALITY. This little girl is something else. She doesn't like hair bows, shoes, or baby food. She thinks she is as old as the other girls, and she expects them to just hand the toys over to her at the slightest peep.
She also doesn't like anything that restraints her, example, high chair, car seat, swing. Oh no, this baby wants to be on the move. Seylum is a Daddy and Mommy's girl. She sleeps in our room now, in her own bed of course, and every morning I'm greeted with a huge toothy grin. It is at this time, that she wants some cuddle time. We love you baby, Happy 1st Birthday.
